cameramen, Carina has only one goal in the film industry:
to be a camerawoman. The industry is now filled with women
DPs, but the men are hired more often. She knows and enjoys
the competition because it forces her to excel in her
work. As her sensibility matures with each project, she
expresses her vision of the subject matter with an idiosyncratic
photography that enhances the emotion and meaning of the
film.
Carina’s experience as a DP has
proved that her devotion to this art is an asset that
will lead to her success. Her responsibility with the
visual style demands that she participates in all levels
of the production. She gets involved in revising the script,
auditioning actors, choosing locations and production
design; in order to create a photographic world that is
in sync with the emotional arc of the film. This emersion
