| Anna Ellis
has been captivated by the entertainment business since
she can remember. As a child, she was involved in acting
classes and numerous theatre productions. She often spent
her free time studying classic movies, writing scripts
and shooting short films. Her passion for creativity was
sparked when she first saw the Broadway play, Phantom
of the Opera at age 14. She remembers being absolutely
mesmerized with the idea of bringing fantasy to life.
Her undying interests in theatre and film inspired her
to pursue a career in show business.
Originally from Rochester Hills, Michigan, Anna made a
solo voyage to Los Angeles when she was 17 to attend The
Media Workshops at UCLA. During this summer, she was exposed
to many different careers in Hollywood, including film
promotions and marketing. The following year, she went
on to study film at Chapman University where she participated
in a variety of student productions. Anna later studied
theatre and mass media at Michigan State University, where
she graduated with a degree in Communications in August
of 2004.
Upon graduation, Anna began working at a local television
studio as a reporter and an advertising firm in Detroit.
However, her desire to work in Hollywood was still strong
and she quit her job to explore other career options.
When the opportunity to work on “Maximum Cage Fighting”
presented itself, Anna was thrilled to temporarily move
to Los Angeles and begin work on her first feature film.
“I’ve always loved LA. Working on my first
feature was very rewarding and taught me a lot about the
business. It was hard work, but worth the results. It
was an unforgettable experience.”
Anna currently resides in Michigan and is looking forward
to her next film opportunity.
